Laurel Tavern

Everyone I know has their favorite place on Ventura Blvd for drinks, food, fun, etc.. For me That place is Laurel Tavern.

Located just east of Laurel Canyon, this gastro-pub has it all. The bartenders are fun & friendly, and even better - they make great drinks.

The selection of beers is also pretty awesome. With a mix of brews you already love, and will love once you try 'em, it really is a no-brainer to spend a Saturday Night here.

So you know all the deets about the drinks at LT, but can I tell you/ show you a bit about the food?

Topped with blue cheese & granny smith apple slices, the Bacon Blue Cheeseburger is ridiculously good. This is coming from someone who has such rigid burger standards, that my friends make fun of me.

Crispy, slightly sweet pork belly skewers melt in your mouth. PLEASE do not pass this up when you visit.

My husband's favorite go-to at Laurel Tavern are the chorizo sliders. He has good reason, they are smokey and a bit spicy. I can never resist stealing one of these little sliders.

I can go one and on about atmosphere and all the beautiful people here, but really the food is the shining star that adds to the already amazing vibe at Laurel Tavern. If you are in the 818, do yourself a favor and check this place out!
